  • The Church is large, but its interior is not very attractive. On the outside, the Church is even more beautiful than on the inside.

  • All the churches in Vienna are very impressive ... and it has Church to all over. This is more of a Baroque church, but very cute. Worth a peek! loads in gold and white.

  • In the morning until 12 a.m. afternoon from 16:00 18 until the hours as is. Could not have gone without knowing it at 1 o'clock to get inside. It was too bad. Amhof square dripping with regret, I took a photo of the Church.

  • Built the Baroque square structure at the Court in the place of the Roman coins chapel at the end of the 14th century as a monastery church of the Carmelites and in the form of today's Baroque church with a monumental western façade with an early entrance hall, wings and a wide tight balconies from the middle of the 17th century. At the Court, place of major historical events, location of the Court was Babenberger(-Herzöge) among other tournaments during the stay of the Holy Roman Emperor Friedrich I Barbarossa in Vienna (1189), as well as the contest between the minstrels Walther von Vogelweide and Reinmar took place in the ancient part of the Roman military camp Vindobona and in the high middle ages. After the relocation of the sovereigns in the Swiss wing of the Hofburg, went over to the place at the end of the 13th century on the Prince's coin and was from 1340 to a marketplace. 1515, venue of the double wedding of the Habsburgs with the Jagiellonian initiated by Emperor Maximilian I was at the Court. During the German revolution of 1848 was stormed the place, this arsenal and war Minister count by Latour on a lantern hung. in 1806, a Herald of Emperor Franz II. from the Loggia of the Church announced the dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire of the German nation.
