Where to stay in Vienna

As a former imperial capital, Vienna is full of lavish hotels reminiscent of the city’s royal past. If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s not hard to find hotels for a more affordable price. Consider staying in the Innere Stadt, or First District, if you only have a short time in town, as you’ll be within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Outside of the central core, Leopoldstadt, or Second District, lines the Danube and offers peaceful walks through tree-lined paths. For shopaholics, Mariahilf, or Sixth District, is a central neighborhood with busy shopping streets and lively markets.

  • All in all very disappointing quality of their own chocolate confectionery. I guess, the quality degraded considerably over time, probably since Mr Christian Petz, the famous chef left the company. The selection of chocolates and related products from around the world is very interesting.
  • Huge selection of quality chocolates and definitely worth a visit by any chocolate lovers or if you looking gifts for friends back home.
  • great place with huge chocolate/bonbons collection. friendly staff and a great location
  • Good chocolate but the service was not so nice. It seems you are bothering them if you are not buying expensive products.
  • Good quality chocolate
