When tired of "heavy excursions everyday life", you can visit the small, very quiet Museum hours. Located almost in the Center. A couple of hours in complete silence, solitude and cool. Some exhibits are interesting.

Clock Museum is a real hidden gem. The museum itself is not so big but extends over three floors of an old medieval house right in the Center. However, they have on this limited area managed to amass great watches and watch movements from several centuries. The explanatory text on the various objects and in the different rooms are in both English and German, so even without the audio guide to the knowledge of the German language to get out very much from the visit. So far, not too many tourists found here, despite its central location. So no queuing or crowding thankfully. However, if you have problems to go alternatively have stroller with them, I would advise against this particular Museum. Although there is an elevator, it is small and in no way accessible.

I have a weakness for watches and clocks, so I looked here very looking forward to it. Beautiful property, 3 floors full of especially clocks; of the first clocks to astronomical. We are instant before noon went inside to hear all the clocks to go at 12 noon, unfortunately not many clocks. Relative little watches stay. But certainly a fun way to spend some time if the weather is anything less!

Very interesting museum, very underestimated. Adult's fee is 7€. The museum is arranged on three floors, and at least 1h is necessary to visit it.

I didnt like the museum. But if you like watches, you may like it.

3 floors to explore - fantastic collection of clocks ranging from tiny pocket watches to giant grand father clocks

Interesting and unusual - watches are really beautiful, a lot of them are small pieces of art. I recommend it! Especially that the area is really cosy and begs for good relaxing session.

Great Museum for ancient to very special clocks. Fun and astonishment implied.

Where to stay in Vienna

As a former imperial capital, Vienna is full of lavish hotels reminiscent of the city’s royal past. If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s not hard to find hotels for a more affordable price. Consider staying in the Innere Stadt, or First District, if you only have a short time in town, as you’ll be within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Outside of the central core, Leopoldstadt, or Second District, lines the Danube and offers peaceful walks through tree-lined paths. For shopaholics, Mariahilf, or Sixth District, is a central neighborhood with busy shopping streets and lively markets.
