  • Very interesting to see some amazing clocks throughout time. I would have loved to see more of them actually working though. Only a small number of old mechanical clocks were actually ticking away.
  • Nice, clean, small museum - not to the last State of the art (E.g. no audio Phon, no elevator, etc.) but very lovingly assembled collection. Very impressive pieces of the last 5 centuries. Some clocks were also. Reasonable ticket prices can be - seen in an hour.

  • Large collection of clocks of every kind, across three floors. From tiny pocket watches to giant grandfather clocks, this museum has it all! Very good visit - plenty of interesting photo opportunities...  more »

  • Interesting and unusual - watches are really beautiful, a lot of them are small pieces of art. I recommend it! Especially that the area is really cosy and begs for good relaxing session.
  • If you have some free time, give it a chance. It is cool and interesting. Some clock are insane!
  • I didnt like the museum. But if you like watches, you may like it.
  • Wonderful museum. It should be a must stop on your Vienna list of things to do. Neatly organized collection. Excellent collection with rich variety of clocks, time pieces etc. as well as originals from church towers. The only disappointment I had was the fact that there was a promised chiming of all working clocks on the hour every hour which was not kept up.
  • Based in one of the oldest houses in central Vienna, this is a must for anyone interested in beautiful old clocks and pocket watches. The place is like a tower with several floors of spring and weight-powered wonders. Some very unusual clocks are on display, with quite a number working.
