  • I can set each at the heart the Türkenschanzpark who prefers denser look and naturbelassenere recreational facilities. It impresses with its rich flora and invites you to relax from the hustle and bustle of big city. In contrast to many other parks you feel here a bit unobserved and therefore probably faster comes to rest.

  • Between the 18th and the 19th district, lying, this park is really ideal for a short walk in the countryside. Historically very significant (1683 the Turkish troops here "entrenched" and bombarded Vienna from here), is already particularly. Placed next to the University of agricultural sciences has a rich variety of trees and plants. Ideal for a walk with the family.

  • Very scenic and "smart" Park. Jogging, dog cages, with benches on the shore of the Lake for those who wants to contemplate the nature, willows and blooming cherries.

  • Beautiful park. I have been here tons of times with my family and each time we thoroughly enjoy it. The park has 2 playgrounds ; one for younger kids and one for older kids. It also offers a volleyball court, ping-pong tables, soccer court, a restaurant, a ice-cream shop and other interesting things..
  • I travel all over the world, and this is one of the most beautiful and peaceful parks I know. The restaurant inside the park is a nice oasis, and the food truck near the north east corner outside the park is excellent too for kebabs. The photo really gives you a sense though, of why this place is so great.
  • Greenery, cycling jogging walk meditation whatever , u can do here... Big park,. Kids and elders definitely enjoy here, one restaurant ice-cream bar is also thr
  • We got the hint to visit this park because of my little man who is fond of buses, and yeah the park has a playground with buses. It's a very nice place to enjoy in the city.
  • Nice cosy park. Pretty big, with good children's playgrounds and a lot of benches. It has a few lakes with ducks as well. There are monuments to Ukrainian Cossacks who defended Vienna in 17th century and a few more sculptures.

Where to stay in Vienna

As a former imperial capital, Vienna is full of lavish hotels reminiscent of the city’s royal past. If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s not hard to find hotels for a more affordable price. Consider staying in the Innere Stadt, or First District, if you only have a short time in town, as you’ll be within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Outside of the central core, Leopoldstadt, or Second District, lines the Danube and offers peaceful walks through tree-lined paths. For shopaholics, Mariahilf, or Sixth District, is a central neighborhood with busy shopping streets and lively markets.
