  • Who would like to escape the hustle and bustle of the city at Christmas time, you should visit the Nice Christmas market in the upper part of the Türkenschanzparks. Very much recommended.

  • One of the most beautiful parks in Vienna. Wound many paths lead through the plant. A haven in the city.

  • Beautiful park in the city. Extensive walking paths, between lakes, playgrounds (for all ages) and spacious meadows. Because the Park imperial times was founded, there are also small old pavilions and statues are located! Absolutely recommended! Sustenance is provided in the dairy farm!

  • I travel all over the world, and this is one of the most beautiful and peaceful parks I know. The restaurant inside the park is a nice oasis, and the food truck near the north east corner outside the park is excellent too for kebabs. The photo really gives you a sense though, of why this place is so great.
  • Beautiful park. I have been here tons of times with my family and each time we thoroughly enjoy it. The park has 2 playgrounds ; one for younger kids and one for older kids. It also offers a volleyball court, ping-pong tables, soccer court, a restaurant, a ice-cream shop and other interesting things..
  • Private party of a friend. Friendly waiters, right in the park close to the playground and nice buffet.

Where to stay in Vienna

As a former imperial capital, Vienna is full of lavish hotels reminiscent of the city’s royal past. If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s not hard to find hotels for a more affordable price. Consider staying in the Innere Stadt, or First District, if you only have a short time in town, as you’ll be within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Outside of the central core, Leopoldstadt, or Second District, lines the Danube and offers peaceful walks through tree-lined paths. For shopaholics, Mariahilf, or Sixth District, is a central neighborhood with busy shopping streets and lively markets.
