  • We took a class of 15 kids (ages 11-13) there and we did enjoy it enormously. The 3D presentation was fun. WWII bunker or Sissi&Franz Joseph exhibitions were educational and interesting. I would recom...  more »
  • This attraction was one of the most memorable for the kids. We did this first in Vienna, which was a good preview for our kids (<12) for later historical visits (ex: Sisi museum). The 5D ride was most...  more »

  • A cheesy, but fun overview of Vienna history. As a non-native German speaker, the accompanying English guide was nearly accurate to the second. Better for kids than adults.
  • Really well thought out and nicely done. A good experience, in fact I would recommend a new visitor to come here before they start sightseeing to get an idea of what to see and what to expect in Vienna. I only wish the 5D video was a bit longer
  • This is a pretty fun experience, especially for kids. Some experiences are better than others. The simulation ride was pretty well done. Love the rats. The talking Habsburgs not quite as impressive. But it makes history a lot more fun for kids. The price is a bit steep for what it is, but I would recommend it for kids . . . at least once.
  • 2000 years cover at speed of light mixed with humor. My second time and brought relatives. Second time seemed superficial but probably because had done lots of research preparing for relative tour guide of Vienna role.
  • Had we not had the Vienna pass, we probably wouldn't have gone here, bit of was a fun experience! Well done and good for kids. Not a ton of content, so I don't feel like I learned much, but what they do tell you is very well portrayed.

Where to stay in Vienna

As a former imperial capital, Vienna is full of lavish hotels reminiscent of the city’s royal past. If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s not hard to find hotels for a more affordable price. Consider staying in the Innere Stadt, or First District, if you only have a short time in town, as you’ll be within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Outside of the central core, Leopoldstadt, or Second District, lines the Danube and offers peaceful walks through tree-lined paths. For shopaholics, Mariahilf, or Sixth District, is a central neighborhood with busy shopping streets and lively markets.
