  • As this park was close to the hotel, we wandered through it on our way to the Stephansdom quarter. We can only imagine what it would be like in the summer with the fountains working as the colours wer...  more »
  • Located in the heart of the city, is the City Park, built in the art nouveau style, to relax after a long inner-city visit. Always somewhere, many old trees provide shade. The Park of two parties from the subway or the ring line is reached. The Park is wheelchair accessible. There are enough benches to rest along the way and places, and people watching available. The vast lawns are used by young people to hang out and chill. The Park can be visited at any time during the day and at night. Many people spend their lunch break here. The existing water areas are populated by various wild water birds. Also here you can find wonderful photo opportunities. Historic buildings standing In the Park (Strauß monument, Spa Salon, dairy) give the Park an imperial flair. Worth seeing is the large Sundial planted with flowers. You can forget the hectic time quickly walking. In the evening the Park to pass the time for lovers is suitable. Wandering over the curved paths, you can forget easily once the time. On the right side of the built-up Vienna River of which divides the Town Park, one finds, if you go over the bridge, a large playground for children with plenty of game.

  • Garden in a peaceful and natural environment. Statues of the character of the fairy tale in a section on the side a bit scary (I think that was made for the purpose of aten).

  • One of the prettiest parks in Vienna. Much to see. It's located in city centre and it really big for its location. If you want to walk around, or to drink coffee, to play with your kids or just take a break...this is the right place.
  • Beautiful park where you can find Strauss' golden statue. Perfect place for children to play in, and for families to have a picnic. Gets pretty crowded during the weekends so be prepared!
  • The park is great to hang out in summer. It is in the middle of the city and very easy to access. It is a nice place with a small pond in the middle. It is great to walk through it, but you can also take a blanket with you and chill on the grass. The park also hosts the "Genussfestival" which offers lots of good wine and dozens of booths with food from all around Austria.
  • This park is brilliant. An example of how a park that is loved and use by locals as their own garden. Is full of people having picnics and resting, sleeping and enjoying the weather. Is in the middle of the city. Is not very big tho but is beautiful to walk.
  • If you are lucky you can also enjoy some live classical music.
