In the midst of the capital, visit the landscaped Stadtpark, home to statues of famous Viennese artists, as well as an opulent venue that hosts balls, concerts, and more. Spread across 11 hectares (28 acres), the park is filled with flowers and plants that blossom throughout the year. Natural protection areas feature ginkgo, honey locust, pyramid poplar, and caucasian wing nut. See monuments to Franz Schubert, Johann Strauss, and Robert Stolz, and visit the spa pavilion that served mineral water with healing properties in the 19th century. • Beautiful park where the Strauss Memorial is located. Excellent beer garden as well. Easy access from the Metro.
  • Beautiful park, nicely arranged. The Strauss statute is the big attraction point. Perfect for a day in the sun. We caught probably the last day of the sunny Fall and it was perfect.
  • Although often crowded, Stadtpark offers plenty of options for relaxation and rest. The big lawn at the south side is perfect for bringing a mat and hanging out in the sun.
  • Quiet park which in summer is full of locals having fun. Strauss monument is here and sometimes there is music played and people dancing. What a beautiful idea, isn't it? There is a playground area and sorry clean wc in front of it. There are quite a few homeless people around most of the times, they never asked for money just they pile their stuff on the benches.
  • Nice park right next to the very center of Vienna. Perfect for a stroll along Wien river and getting away from city life for some moments
  • A lot of small food and beer Festivals are organised here and the area is very nice. It is great for a walk with your dog, a run or a romantic pick nick
  • Lovely city park to escape the concrete and traffic. It was really popular and filled with people when we visited on a sunday.
