That the Soviet invasion was called him "liberation" has his grace. Luckily for Vienna, the city was not in the orbit of their "liberators" after the war, as if it happened to millions of Eastern Europeans who suffered the Soviet regime for the next 55 years. It is as a historical curiosity, the memory of a regime that no longer exists, but whose propaganda is evident in the whole. We hope that, as it has happened with other monuments of political propaganda in special and with evident anger in Spain, this not be destroyed by some illiterate politician, who wants to deprive future generations of the material testimony of the past.
