  • First and foremost, for the Russian people, the area remembered the Soviet Army soldiers monument, erected in 1945 year to mark the liberation of Vienna from the Nazis by the Red Army. The Viennese often refer to it as a monument to liberation or Russian. The area was named in honor of Prince Karl Philipp Schwarzenberg. In the Centre of Schwarzenbergplatz is a monument to him. Fountain with colorful illumination is its decoration, and ground around it is a favourite place of tourists and townspeople. You can have a rest from city vanity in a nearby park. • It is important that in Austria do not forget about those who saved them from fascism. Walking through Vienna saw the Schwarzenbergplatz square monument to Soviet liberators! Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten! On the four sides of the monument concourse broken order about taking I.v.stalin Vein, lists of Soviet soldiers and officers who died in the battle for Vienna, verse of the national anthem of the SOVIET UNION, a quote from a speech by Joseph Stalin from May 9, 1945, in connection with the victory over Nazi Germany.

  • A surfing comp in the middle of Vienna!
  • Pleasant bright and small garage at the Hay market. Good for visitors of the concert hall and Academy theatre. Evening rate is very attractive. Lift also suitable for wheelchair users and people with disabilities. During the day more expensive.

Where to stay in Vienna

As a former imperial capital, Vienna is full of lavish hotels reminiscent of the city’s royal past. If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s not hard to find hotels for a more affordable price. Consider staying in the Innere Stadt, or First District, if you only have a short time in town, as you’ll be within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Outside of the central core, Leopoldstadt, or Second District, lines the Danube and offers peaceful walks through tree-lined paths. For shopaholics, Mariahilf, or Sixth District, is a central neighborhood with busy shopping streets and lively markets.
