  • Interesting place. Located in the heart of the city on the opposite side of the national library. When you visit, you have the opportunity to see a variety of butterflies, and if lucky, and be a temporary resting place for some of them. You also need to have patience and again a modicum of luck in order to be able to see a large number of them, as the room is large enough, and relatively few butterflies. Maybe it has to do with the fact that we visited this place in winter, and can and should be. For information: the price of admission 6.50 Euro adult and 3.20 Euro for children.

  • Came to pass the time while it was raining. The place is very small but we got to see some butterfly activity. Not sure if the price is worth it, but if you have a good camera I guess you can spend mo...  more »
  • No Butterfly compared to last year. Same time yet, except that there were only 6 butterflies running after, full of dead... Not pleasant french meddling that don't look and criticizing everything, visit cut short, we come back more.

  • Beautiful place. I was there today by recommendation, and I will recommend this lovely place to anyone who is going to visit Vienna. It's really beautiful place.. and quiet. And worm. But I like that, so I'm really glad to be there, and I will be come again.
  • Ugh....the owner was so rude to my son yesterday. He got mad because a butterfly landed on him. He repeated the fact of do not touch anything. ...I corrected him twice that he didn't. Simply the butterfly landed on him. Yet, he removed the butterfly from my son's arm by clasping the wings together and tossing it in the garden. When I complained at the ticket area about the man, the lady said there was nothing she could do as it was the owner. Wow - rudeness on his part. Not a good way to represent your business. And way too expensive as you can only handle the environment for no more than 15-20 minutes. Skip this exhibit. ..not worth the time, money or experience.
  • Not the best butterfly house in the world. But still really good and with a visit.
  • A lot of interesting species of Butterflies but it's quite expensive to go in. In the summer it's very hot inside, you feel like you're in a tropical rain forest. If you have a decent camera then you can capture stunning images of colourful butterflies. Some butterflies even land on your fingers/clothing and stay on you!
  • This was a nice place to see a range of butterflies. Whilst it was a relatively small building, the entry price was fair and you're allowed to stay for as long as you want. This made for some great photos.
