  • They have the best Christmas market in all Vienna and it also has an ice rink with varied track outdoor skating. Night has a beautiful lighting. No to be missed.

  • Love the athmostphere and mood of the place. The decorations are wonderful and there are some nice attractions for kids as well. The only thing to complain about ist the fact that the same businesses ...  more »
  • Now (to 26.12) in the square in front of the Town Hall in Vienna's largest Christmas market. Atmosphere is amazing! The market is not only palatochkah on the square (where you can buy and decorations, and food, etc.), but in a different sort of razvlekalovkah: first ice rink. Skates can be rented (6-7 € for the whole day) deposit of the document or key, or 50 €., you can rent safety deposit box (approx. € 4) to 20:00 (then the tariff increases and will have a little pay), which put his shoes. We skated in the morning, tired, skating in a safe deposit box put (2 pairs, one of which 46 size, placed in one safe norms) and went for a walk. In the evening, as it was getting darker, rink lights, lights up very nicely, we returned, again went to skate. Skates, however, very hard. Ride them hard. When you have the key to the vault and tickets for ice skating, then return a few euros (up to 20:00). Also in some time at the fair you can decorate cookies (for children), 20-21 h presentation of brass. Mulled wine and punch poured many tents -4 €, cherry-4, 5 €, 3 € take mug deposit. We visited several Viennese markets, near the Town Hall is the largest.

  • A must see for touring the sights in Vienna. Check out daily tours at 1300 hrs. Nice Christmas Market, shops, food amd drink. Ice skating ribbon a nice touch.
  • Nice parc and in Christmas time, there is a lovely market and an ice skating ring. If you are staying in Vienna during this period, I recommend that you pass by this place.
  • A diverse variety of food from traditional to exotic, most of them of good quality. However, finding a place to sit is a pain since it is notoriously crowded and the drinks are somewhat pricy.
  • Lovely park, a great place to have a photo shoot! Kids will enjoy it as much as adults
  • The Roncalli Circus was having it's 40th Anniversary while we were there; so they pitched themselves in front of the Rathaus. It was great fun to have a biergarten to drink in in front of the Rathaus!
