During my recent stay in Vienna, I stopped at Meinl am Graben for an espresso coffee - they have a bar at the front of the shop. The espresso was average.

The place is nice and attractive. Most people go there by curiosity. The place is very expensive. One mango from Peru for EUR 14 !! Employees behavior do not reflect and contradict the management's luxury business approach. Sparkling without real content.

I really used to like this place.. a wide variety of products, mostly a bit overpriced, but also unusual products which kind of justifies the price. However, since the new make-over, unfortunately sad to say that all the kind, nice, oldish wooden flair is gone. Now mostly just concrete and cold. Nothing special anymore. My own personal opinion, not a good move from management.

One of the best upscale supermarkets in Vienna. There is some renovation work going on right now but I believe it's all for the best. You have to see the selection of chocolate, coffees, teas, sauces, jams, and most importantly wine.

Wonderful market with an expansive selection of excellent products from all over the world! You're sure to find something interesting when you visit Julius Meinl. And of course be sure to grab a cup of coffee or tea while you're there.

It used to be good but not now anymore. Way overpriced. Nothing traditional with this place anymore. There are now much better places in the 1st district now that are also better priced. Meinl knows that they are mentioned in every travel guide and that tourists don't care about the prices.
