  • As claimed by the owners, a habitué of the squash was Johann Strauss himself (I don't understand is the father or the son, I suspect that all the same son). They also argue that here for two hundred years of existence, the restaurant (founded in 1805), nothing has changed. In General, willing to believe. Very cozy place with very friendly staff. This is one of those cases where the "point" is an exciting attraction for caterers.

  • Interesting institution. A fragment of the old Vienna or a piece of history of the 19th century. Restaurant, as claimed by its owners, was founded in 1805. For 200 years, much has changed, except the excellent traditional cuisine. You can appreciate the many not the latest allowances ranging from Emperor Franz Joseph ... And now we ordinary tourists can appreciate and cuisine and atmosphere. Surprisingly, the prices are not much higher than in other Viennese restaurants ... The restaurant is located in 15 Stuberl Maxing-minute walking distance from the main entrance to the Schloß Schönbrunn ...

  • Very welcoming bar/pub. Lovely food. Not touristy at all. Had previously been to Schonbrunn Palace and came across this bar by mistake.
