  • Palazzo overlooking Michaeler Platz and departs from the classic viennese Baroque. In reality the building has no frills but is very pleasing however and contributes to slide over the whole square. It is said that when Emperor Franz Joseph saw it, she was terrified and not by more from here for his Imperial Palace.

  • On the rooftops of Vienna historical feel and design of the new building. Seems pretty received criticism for was this building was a modern design, but today, have been a boon as a monument to early modern architecture. Location is on the East side of the Hofburg Palace.

  • ...welches his K & K monarchical imagination dreams disturbed. Who cares it still? because the House was the first departure from the Imperial claims of omnipotence. A House with a very noble materials, certainly at that time anathema, today barely noticed.

  • An important monument in the history of architecture. Today we can barely understand how it could have been so controversial.
  • This building caused protests when it was built in 1909-11 by Adolf loos for its lack of "eyebrows" - the ornamentation above the window. Work was allowed to continue only after Loos agreed to add bronze flower boxes.
  • Such a great architecture!
  • Just because it stands out from the other architectural style of the city out, I like it especially.
