  • A nice manageable sized museum. Loved the Weiner Werstatte furniture exhibit! Also the "narrow" houuse. The Klimt pieces seemed a bit thin. They offer free lockers & have a nice Gift shop.  more »
  • i really like the modern feel of this museum although two floors were closed when I visited. it also had a nice café in the centre of the building so that you could relax and talk over the artwork wit...  more »
  • A very pleasant visit. In our case there was the exhibition of Klimt and Schiele with very particular exposures. Although I didn't know a lot of artists i paintings on display were really unique and caught the attention of an eye less accustomed. Also there was a screening room used for explanations of each painting exhibited with English subtitles. Definitely worth seeing considering it is in Vienna and you want to learn more about the country's artists and their art. to see.

  • The Egon Schiele collection is amazing! There are also some Klimt paintings that I really like and some illutrations from the Secession.
  • Good Klimt and Shiele collection, lovely restaurant area. In this museum you can find Austrian art of of the 20th century. The area dedicated to Schiele and Gustav Klimt it's very well stuctured, defined in a chronological and thematic, accurated way. You can also find Wiener Secession and Nouveau art as well as Expressionism.
  • Fantastic museum. The Leopold includes a large collection of Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt, amongst many other well renowned secessionist artists. The flow of the museum works very nicely providing both a historical timeline as well as context for all of the pieces of artwork. The Schiele exhibit concludes with a video that provides additional explanations of some his more famous artworks. I highly recommend! Regular admission is 13€, and student tickets (
  • Amazing museum! The Egon Schiele collection is lovely. They have some good prices by Gustav Klimt too. Less crowded than other spots in Vienna. We went to the cafe, which was good too.
  • The exhibition for Schiele and Klimt was fantastic, on top of the host of other artists on show on the top floor. From contemporary to classic this place had it all. Beautiful building and friendly staff too
