It's something like a high-end supermarket, in which you can buy local brands and specialities of Vienna and the region. Very easy to find, so check it out.  more »

I love to do some groceries here! The personal is very professional. They know what they are offering and selling. You will be able to buy food and beverages from all over the world. It's even just nice to walk through the store! Definitely a must see and visit in Vienna!

Wonderful coffee and pretty good cakes. Good service. If you find yourself in Vienna you should definitely stop by when visiting Stephansplatz

Vienna's best food emporium. By far (It can get better, just not in Austria). The service is excellent (for European standards). Maybe the best place to buy cheese in town. Maybe the best and most competent vinotheque in town. Also a nice and cosy restaurant overlooking the Graben pedestrian street, where it is even possible to have a Meinl coffee, tea or glass of wine at the bar.

There are so many kinds of groceries. Not only groceries but also cafe is nice. Match of Viennese coffee and Zachertorte was really tasty.

Where to stay in Vienna

As a former imperial capital, Vienna is full of lavish hotels reminiscent of the city’s royal past. If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s not hard to find hotels for a more affordable price. Consider staying in the Innere Stadt, or First District, if you only have a short time in town, as you’ll be within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Outside of the central core, Leopoldstadt, or Second District, lines the Danube and offers peaceful walks through tree-lined paths. For shopaholics, Mariahilf, or Sixth District, is a central neighborhood with busy shopping streets and lively markets.
