  • The problem is that Vienna has a infinities of museums, and many are paid. If you do not select will have to have a lot of time and money to visit all. Ideally you research before to see what more this gallery for example has a fixed small collection and is paid. If I knew it wouldn't.

  • In this gallery, the tourists are not as numerous as in the other galleries, probably because here not so great advertising is made. First-class paintings alone may be considered thus, also the admission is cheap and who want to take pictures, can take pictures for a small fee, without Flash. In an earlier building, many images was donated to the Academy by a count. The building was built in the years 1872 to 1877 and now approximately 250 famous paintings are exhibited. The absolute star in this House is the "Weltgerichtstriptychon" of the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch. This three-part painting should be seen in peace and quiet, because it's full of scurrilous scenes. So thought our old front of the religion in the middle ages. Not only this image is worth seeing but also Rubens, he says, and Rembrandt will be honored here. Worth a visit.
