  • Time and again various markets are held on the Freyung: Easter market, Christmas market and certainly some in between. These events although much audience on this magnificent square, adjust the view of the impressive monuments but, at least it distract them. The best you can enjoy this place without market. Many walking tours lead through the Freyung, coming from the University, the Burgtheater, Graben, Herrengasse or the Schottengasse. The Freyung is one of the most interesting places of Vienna in their diversity of architectural and historical significance.

  • One of the smaller and quieter of Vienna's Christmas markets situated in an old neighbourhood and surrounded by grand buildings and the Schottenkirche. More traditional than some of the bigger markets...  more »
  • Surrounded by many beautiful houses and palaces. It is worth to go through the passage of Palais Ferstel.

  • The worst experience in my life - need to visit dentist because of this restaurant !!!! I was here last week and had a meal. In the appetizer was hidden nutshell or a small stone which broke my tooth in half. I was in a shock and didn't know what happened until I have got home. The tooth is finished and I need to visit my dentist ASAP and pay a lot for fixing it. Thanks a lot, for my worst experience ever!
  • Not convinced despite breathtaking atmosphere unfortunately culinary. After was once forgotten on our food, it was still a half an hour, until it finally stood on the table - the overpriced orange juice was also already drunk by then. The value for money is disappointing, I can make faster and cheaper at home same dishes me. The second star in the rating is due to only the Nice facility and the pretty exterior.
