not easy to find even with google maps. it got us close, but had to ask a few locals how to find it. the first one had no clue - led us down the wrong path, but the second person got us to the univers...  more »

I had huge forward at the Narrenturm and the therein exhibition. 50000 exhibits and an interesting history. Because the hours are manageable we started Saturday already at 10. The lower part of the Tower entrance fee €4 and you get a small conglomeration of exhibits, quite interesting. Happy I was on the lead to the upper floors that extra strikes again with €6 to beech. At the end, I was however disappointed because in just a few exhibits briefly stopped to rush then after a short explanation directly to. Time to look at something... Error display. You get hardly anything from the tower and the exhibition and continue as in the not floor 2nd with this guide also. Who is interested in the exhibits must find probably something else. Maybe again book one of the extra tours. Eventually there will have an opportunity to be able to look at the exhibits really, but that remains speculative. Questions were eliminated partially answered but often earlier during the tour with the note that was no time for that. It was also, for you was the exhibition really to see how said smuggled out without the possibility. Too bad and that is why only 2 points.

Always exciting for those interested in medicine, even if the signs sometimes to be something desired and you every now and again certainly only can puzzle without knowledge of Latin or anatomical knowledge, what exactly you actually look at. However, is the Museum very well prepared in my opinion, especially considering the comparable really low entry cost. But only the exhibition rooms on the ground floor can be visited without a guide, so I'd think anyone who wants learn more a guided tour to the heart - these are often fully booked, therefore it is advisable to register in advance.

Where to stay in Vienna

As a former imperial capital, Vienna is full of lavish hotels reminiscent of the city’s royal past. If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s not hard to find hotels for a more affordable price. Consider staying in the Innere Stadt, or First District, if you only have a short time in town, as you’ll be within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Outside of the central core, Leopoldstadt, or Second District, lines the Danube and offers peaceful walks through tree-lined paths. For shopaholics, Mariahilf, or Sixth District, is a central neighborhood with busy shopping streets and lively markets.
