Where to stay in Vienna

As a former imperial capital, Vienna is full of lavish hotels reminiscent of the city’s royal past. If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s not hard to find hotels for a more affordable price. Consider staying in the Innere Stadt, or First District, if you only have a short time in town, as you’ll be within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Outside of the central core, Leopoldstadt, or Second District, lines the Danube and offers peaceful walks through tree-lined paths. For shopaholics, Mariahilf, or Sixth District, is a central neighborhood with busy shopping streets and lively markets.

  • We enjoyed being able to attend church on a Sunday though not being able to understand much. It was a well-coordinated service with beautiful voices in attendance. Vienna Boys alumni were the ushers. ...  more »

  • Vienna boys choir and some members of Vienna philharmonic orchestra play mass music every Sunday at 9:15. You can get standing seat for free with first come first serve basis. You have to get there at 8:30.
  • Through the night and take the bus Sunday morning at 8:15 a.m. and stood in line. At first I had no idea what the table shows in the sleepy first sitting watching religious facilities so people with money can discriminate against people. .. Never thought that. But listen to the song of the empty boys ' choir is a real Angel advent ... The Kingdom of heaven ... Soul purification. .. It was that experience ........ After the ban, but the photo was taken during a mass worship 1-storey choir come down when you take them all to sing. Then I'd be inclined to stand empty, even going back a good enough experience

  • It is very nice to wake up and go to see the mass sung by the children's Choir of Vienna. You must go early, it is small and is filled with a moment, you have to bring coins, pass the broom to tort and law
