  • The oldest Biedermayer cemetery. Mozart was buried there, at that time in a no longer detectable mass grave. A memorial site recalls. Today no funerals take place there, the cemetery is rather a park for rest seekers, with beautiful old gravestones. The overall impression of the cemetery is very well maintained. Not for nothing he is under monumental protection.

  • First of all, the cemetery is well known fact that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is buried here. Of course, before entering the scheme installed with the designation of the graves of famous people are buried here, but for me personally, to my shame, these many German names say nothing. The cemetery is open daily from October to March from 6-30 till 18-30, from April to September-with 6-30 to 8:00 pm. From the center of the city not very far, not really a big graveyard, so a lot of time and effort to visit here will not take.
