  • One of the first things I saw when I visited Vienna last October and again this March. Johannes Brahms was a great 19th century German composer. The statue, at Karlsplatz, just across from Karlskirche...  more »
  • We nearly missed this statue while in Karl's square, because of it being so average. There's no doubt that someone like Brahms should've received a much better treatment.  more »
  • Well-known composer Johannes Brahms is associated with Vienna as well as the Viennese Waltz, Viennese Wiener schnitzel or strudel. Therefore, no monument Vienna Bramsu would be incomplete in tourist perception. This monument was erected in the Park Resselja, Karlsplatz. True, a few seem to be asleep, Brahms, tired of tourists ... But it doesn't matter-in this park there are monuments and unsleeping composers ...
