  • Not exceptionally good but nice and close the zoo. There was an art installation going on, wish I could stayed longer. But it's still just a botanical garden, what do you want.
  • I visited in late October and was dazzled by the gorgeous colors. This place oozed tranquility. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and stayed most of the afternoon. The pathways are laid out to reveal surp...  more »
  • In Vienna, parks can be used free of charge, the same applies to the Botanical Garden of the University of Vienna, this is either via the input of Rennweg accessible or access from the Belvedere Palace. The Park is super clean, sort of Arboretum, the trees and plants are labeled and there are plenty of benches to relax, read a book, picnic etc. For lovers of exotic plants there is a little hidden visitors greenhouse and a very beautiful area with Succulents. There are Palm trees and even a wonderful specimen of Australian grass tree's. Small areas of expertise in glass cases in the park grounds, E.g. differences conifers on the associated PIN, complete the entire image. Highly recommended.

  • Green lovers will love it. Serene. Well kept. Lots of plants and flowers. Trails where you can walk or run. Benches where you can stop and read a book. A nice bamboo grove you can walk inside. And it's free!
  • Quiet, peaceful, beautiful especially in the summer when everything is flowering! Monotone in the autumn, but still relaxing to walk through
  • This is just average. It might be a lot better in summer, but I visited in October. We blitzed through here in about 10-15 mins.
  • A peaceful and well loved space to get away from the city.
  • An amazing place for a quite stroll, right in the center of Vienna!
