  • The art Banause is guided by the Kunstbeflissenen (wife) in the Albertina to the Miroausstellung. The Albertina is certainly one of the largest, most important art museums in the world and the art Banause learned there that will amaze. Exhibitions are very good. Collection of the Museum is impressive. You again.

  • One of my favorite museums in Europe. Gorgeous mix of neoclassical and modern architecture which at once acknolwedges the Imperial history of Vienna while celebrating it as a modern international capital. Excellent art in particular exhibits Ive attended featuring the work of artists of the Vienna Secession as well as a beautifully curated exhibit of Matisse. Just superbly done exhibitions and all have been worthwhile and highly informative as well as visually stunning. Great dining inside the museum cafe but you must have a reservation as it gets quite busy but if you have to wait, you will enjoy the beautifully renovated interior of the restaurant in particular the ceiling.
  • Absolutely loved this place and the pieces of art in it. I went on a Sunday and there was an activity for kids that showed them around and explained some of the paintings to them. I loved this! Such enriching experience! Definitely don't miss this if you are in Vienna
  • If you are an art lover, the Albertina is a must-see attraction while visiting Vienna. Not only is it a stunning building, but the exhibits are fantastic and it's well priced compared to other attractions that are less impressive. The Raphael exhibit alone was worth the entry fee. I've never seen a more comprehensive collection of his work, particularly drawings and pre-painting sketches. The modern art collection is also worth a look as I encountered new artists I was unaware of and really appreciate their works.
  • This museum is amazing. They have very good permanent collections like Pieter Bruegel's. The temporary collections are pretty note worthy, like Rafael's now until February.
  • Amazing, I was impressed by the lighting on the paintings, it was amazing. The collection was really good, an amazing experience indeed. The "Raphael "part was epic. I will go back for sure.

Where to stay in Vienna

As a former imperial capital, Vienna is full of lavish hotels reminiscent of the city’s royal past. If you’re traveling on a budget, it’s not hard to find hotels for a more affordable price. Consider staying in the Innere Stadt, or First District, if you only have a short time in town, as you’ll be within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Outside of the central core, Leopoldstadt, or Second District, lines the Danube and offers peaceful walks through tree-lined paths. For shopaholics, Mariahilf, or Sixth District, is a central neighborhood with busy shopping streets and lively markets.
