  • The hoo visited with my girlfriend the first day we were in Vienna, I enjoyed the various exhibits in the Gallery; the Museum for the 100th anniversary of the death has dedicated an entire early expressionist Egon Schiele, 900. Other plan if I "share" Picasso, Monet and many other artists. It enchants to see those works and the time spent between them fly but at the same time stands still. The Gallery also has the basement dedicated to contemporary art and an exhibition for Markus Prachensky. Of course I invite everyone in Vienna to go there.

  • I thought I had visited this museum on one of my many previous visits to Vienna, but I don't remember anything about it if I have! (The effects of advancing age I fear) The exhibition spaces were well...  more »

  • A nice place in the city centre.. you can spend some nice time here watching other buildings, taking photos and the crowd movement in general.. a must one time visit place.. onwards is your own choice.. I visited thrice..
  • Brilliant gallery with a variety for all to enjoy. I especially enjoyed Stoitzner's winter landscapes in woodcut. I can recommend the gallery to anyone even if for a short quiet moment. Worth the money!
  • A very fine gallery, somewhat inhibited by its purposefully narrowed scope and lack of major pieces. Recommend scouting out the temporary exhibitions before you schedule a long jaunt.
  • Incredible! The most fantastic part was the secret toilets in the staterooms There was also some art Which I suppose was cool. The contemporary section had its ups and downs. Apparently the "black on black" exhibit is supposed to be for the "patient viewer". But after 3 floors of art, my patience was lacking... Being under 19 means it's free! So get some culture into your Viennese trip for free!
  • Fantastic art museum with high quality exhibitions and some state rooms to explore. There is ample information on each painting in addition to well organized rooms and explanations of art movements so that you can fully understand and appreciate what you are looking at. There is also a nice terrace to relax with a view of the Burggarten and surrounding architecture in central Vienna.
