  • I am a proper 'arty' and this hit the spot! It is central to most other superb sightseeing and adjacent to the Museum Quarter. Genres split over different floors it is easy to navigate and the art wel...  more »
  • This time we came to see the exhibition of watercolors and we were over their beauty. In addition to the incredibly detailed paintings and special softness, emitting images an amazing atmosphere. We prefer oil painting but we were not disappointed at all, on the contrary. Is it really worth it.

  • Once used for imperratore guests, the Albertina houses the largest collection of graphic art in the world. The Batliner collection, with over 100 paintings from the period between Monet and Picasso.

  • Well here is everything for a real fan of beauty. Upstairs you have your classics on the middle floor you can visit the next doors manor house in its unchanged styled... Then in the basement you have your modern, somewhat more wacky art.. Just beautiful.. They have students tickets
  • The museum was pretty impressive, so many different well known artists on exhibition. It was an easy way to get accustomed to these different artists, even though you shouldn't expect to see their best work here. Especially if it's not local Austrian artists. However, the exhibition that for me stood out, was the Keith Haring exhibition, he was not well known to me personally, but I was impressed by his style and his achievements in his short life.
  • Great little museum - took me about 2 hours to get though all of it. The Monet and Picasso gallery is great because there's also a detailed history of the different styles of painting that arose, so it was educational too. The room exhibit was nice as well. Definitely don't need a long time here, but worth checking out.
  • Beautiful and well organized gallery. There is a permanent exposition of photography, paintings and a few sculptures too. The current temporary exhibition is Raphael. Definitely worth a visit. The premises are super tidy and well organized and nicely lit. Each room has a specific atmosphere and each exposition conveys a different feeling. Toilets are nice and clean too.
  • Very nice museum right in the centre on Vienna. I saw two exhibitions there: "Keith Harring" and "Watercolour in Vienna", both fantastic. The museum shop is very nice as well, and there are free lockers, but the "cafe" is more of a restaurant and won't sell you a bottle of water unless you're seated.
