  • The elevator is one, even as there are so many in Austria. Above is the hike. We had some trouble with the only roads on the map, to find back in reality. Therefore, but itself a route made up.

  • We were here recently and have seen even more typical feeling of Carinthia. Beautiful mountains, but unfriendly hut people: the Goldeck panorama hut is beautifully, you have wonderful all-round view, but the hut is managed by two people after the motto: who here is coming, dancing to our tune. I asked politely after 70 minutes of waiting, when we can expect the food (Kai er nonsense finished breads,), and in response I was really angeschauzt that the shelter is full, and we should be happy to get (!) a place at all - and I would have stopped the order until half an hour ago (even in the PC, the hostess looked when she had entered the order - here the problem may be , she simply forgot about us). Maybe had a smile and a little humour the thing cleaned up, instead scolded the host of the refuge from the kitchen to do so that it is again typical of the tourists, always, everything must go quickly! You should think a little in Carinthia, if perhaps changing not the behaviour in tourism companies — there one must embarrassed itself literally as an Austrian. Dear foreign tourists: Please come to us, but is better in Styria or Tyrol, lower Austria etc.. And something else: the gold corner railway is so out of date, that a concern kommen...kein comparison to the Dachstein cable car, Nativity stone railway, Schmittenhöhebahn, but in Carinthia you had made rather different with the money (how was that with a specific database?)

  • Road very easy access, well maintained, the view is very nice more, large car park and a small Inn a little lower is fine, beautiful plate of cold cuts and cheese

  • Nice!!! It was open even during the windy weather!
  • The railway is always nice to drive. Most cable cars are many small Einzelkabienen. There can sit while beautiful, but less visibility. The old live hang high above the ground and so you can enjoy the view

  • We wanted to drive still up in the afternoon, but the railway was only up to the middle station, what we previously didn't know. The disappointment was great, but also from the central station you can walk right! LG

  • We have informed us in advance of two travel guide and operator's homepage about the opening and operating times. Our children were then also long before very excited rejoiced scary on the trip. Arrived on the spot the electronic information Board announced tersely that it would open only at a later date in the year. In the quarter of an hour, we needed the comfort of the children and the reorganizing of the ruptured daily schedule, more than 20 other people were there, which faced the info panel just like us with disappointed faces and had to turn back. Maybe it's working yes another better. Then will be reevaluated.
