Berglift Stuhleck Reviews
Gute Liftanlage, nicht überfüllt, gute Ein- und Ausstiege. Hab mir allerdings das Knie verletzt und musste mit der Bahn auch wieder ins Tal. Dort ist der Ausstieg sehr sehr steil und eisig - wer also ... more »Good lift system, not crowded, good input and exits. However I did hurt the knee and had to train again in the Valley. There, the opt-out is very, very steep and icy - so who is planning a tour, in which he again wants to go with the lift in the Valley, should watch out!
We are going skiing there, from Bratislava its only 160km, 99% highways, so it takes 1,5 hours. Possible to start @morning and return back home @evening. Lats time, it was pretty hot, 3-5°C but slopes... more »

We had a nice ski day
We spent 20 minutes stucked on ski-lift B and all reports/informations were only in german language. Adding english language would be very helpful. I like this ski resort and this is suggestion for improvement
On a working day, with good snow conditions, this is the perfect skiing resort for one day trip. Close to Vienna and Bratislava.
Had a great time. Since it it is well below 2000m, snow isn't always the best, but when there is cold enough it is a great place to be at.
Stuhleck is a small ski resort but offers a good variety of ski runs (no blacks). Most runs are north facing, which helps the snow stay despite relatively low altitude. The blue runs are very wide and excellent for carving. All runs are below the tree line, which adds a feeling of comfort. Services are at the usual high standard for Austria. Most lifts are kinda slow, which can be unpleasant on a cold day. It does get crowded on weekends.
Stuhleck is a great 2 days skiing place at max. The slopes are pretty good for medium skiers, but for the beginners it is maybe to steep and for the experts the slopes become boring. The restaurant at the top of the mountain has a magnificent view.
