  • Took friends to the castle and we were all very happy with what we saw. The tour of the castle is very-well designed in that there is plenty to read in English, which was great. So often you miss out....  more »
  • I find that courtyard is a great destination! I was already very often there and it is and is always interesting. Each day after courtyard I can discover new things, because the system is so huge. My graduation project was the Castle courtyard and Prinz Eugen. I could get there a lot of information and many ideas. Both markets at Christmas time and Easter there are always many visitors. The greatest experience in the courtyard is the ball, which is held every year and makes for a great atmosphere. The garden is beautiful. The best time is to marvel at the garden in the spring when the flowers start to bloom. Generally you don't know where to begin shooting. Also for children there is a Petting Zoo. You can get there also several geocaches (:)

  • Spectacular Castle - even the walk up to the castle (over 300 steps) is beautiful. Huge castle and ruins with beautiful grounds. Under renovation now, which makes scaffolding a problem for some photos. Beautiful vistas overlooking Heidelberg and the river. Nice little café and gift shop. Typically very crowded.
  • Lying very aloof palace. Very few guests, but really worth it to be there because of the beautiful view and gardens.
  • Beautiful location. Would be nice for weddings.
  • Most charming imperial aura in the East of Austria. Take a day out there.
  • Beautiful castle, also nice place to visit on a sunny weekend
