  • Well since the 1970's there has been an annual, summer, exhibition held in this lovely castle. The 2016 subject was indeed the 70's. A fascinating event, a reminder of so many items we owned / used. A...  more »
  • With the current exhibition to the 70's, it is really worthwhile to drive to the Schallaburg. There is much to discover, you may remember as a student at that time. We have recognized much, what was at that time not as aware. The distribution of the exhibition is well structured. The castle itself is interesting and is situated on the Danube. We wait for the next topic, then we go back certainly.

  • Little castle in a provincial town with the same name. On the outside very authentic, with a renaissance tower and beautiful terracotta colonnades. On the inside it has a museum with exhibitions changing once a year.
  • Nice mediaval garden
  • Nice
  • Good exhibition. Memories are awake! He would be great for more music from the 70s. BUT: The gastronomy, a nerve: A undiffenierters "Dirndl beer", 0.3 l €4.20 1 extended, €3.10 (request a bigger glass of tap water that was fulfilled and €1.40 extra charged.) A shame for that. Gastronomy

  • Beautiful castle with great castle garden and children's playground. Featured theme exhibitions and also Castle visit is possible. (Audioguide available), Castle canteen is alright, Castle Shop is a little cramped and "installed". Well signposted parking.
