  • We had to wait 15 minutes before seeing any of the staff to sit. Waiters miffed when you asked for a table we replied that it was all full when we saw empty tables without reservations. Finally, after an hour, we were allowed to sit in a round coffee table bar with the obligation not to order ' items that are too large. Except, good beer and good Austrian cuisine.

  • We came for lunch on a Saturday, having booked we found no place. Rude waiters, we had to chase for helping us find a small table for two skimpy when were in the other room of empty tables. We ordered the sausage and potatoes with various sauces, all weissen good and Stiegl brauwelt very good. Disappointed with the service but pretty nice lunch. I don't know if I will return

  • I first tried Stiegl in the US and was looking forward to coming here. Great selection of beer and radlers with a peppering of Austrian fare. The ambience is more modern than Bavarian and the people watching was better than average. Will come back again for sure.
  • Stiegl is the big-name Austrian beer brand everyone knows (their Radler is amazing). We stopped by late one night to say we've been to the brewery. We didn't do the tour, and the gift shop was closed. We also didn't have any food...we just had some beers and hung out. The staff was helpful. The big draw here is to have Steigl beers that you may not easily get anywhere else (such as the IPA). They also have a large beer fridge with hard-to-find beers from around the area (as far as Belgium) that you can buy for take-away or to drink at the table. A fun experience. The closest bus is still a 10-minute walk away, but it is worth it.
  • Four generous beer samples, great food, a fantastic tour, and a hop tasting. Also a cool film to start. Tours in English as well. Try the Paraselseus beer. There's a great giftshop too. I'd go back again.
  • Well worth a visit. With a Salzburg card you get a free guided tour. Which was very interesting. When the tour is over you get to sample some great beers. The bars at the brewery also do nice meals too. I recommend their burger and chips.
  • Excellent!! Really nice tour and generous beer tasting at the end. Well worth it!
