  • Go to the Stiegl Gastgarten inside or into the Stubn in Winter, you´ll like the tasty food and beer and the good athmosphere here.  more »
  • Having a one day stop over in Salzburg and we were recommended to come here and try food and the beer. Really glad we did several beers on the menu of which I had the Columbus pale ale and the Hibiscu...  more »
  • Not sure if it was the rain or Easter Sunday but the brewery was really quiet. We got there at midday, and easily wasted 3 hours in the machinehaus eating reasonably priced lunch and sampling the brew...  more »

  • We got the tour and beer tasting for free with our Salzburg cards, which was awesome! The tour is worth doing, and was in English (not sure if they all are or if we just got lucky). The tour uses some multimedia experiences such as a wraparound projector video and some museum-like exhibits, and the female guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and humorous. And the beer is great!
  • Terrific tour, the English tour was great and the host was very nice and funny. You get a great gift and then a tasting after. I fully recommend doing this.
  • Very nice brewery and beer garden! There is a lot to see on the tour but we were rushed through pretty fast. I think that the guide though that our group would rather be sampling the beer and ended our tour early.
  • I enjoyed the museum tour. Both the food and beer were great.
  • Great place to visit if you have two hours to spare in Salzburg. Good price for a tour that includes three beers to taste and a gift. The tour can be guided or unguided. I decided to go without a guide. The tour is actually very long. It's cool, unique and interesting, but long. Near the end I stopped reading and just looked at stuff because I was ready for beer. The beer was great. The servers were very friendly. The gift shop is fairly priced. Definitely worth checking out.
