Red Bull Hangar-7, Salzburg
(4.6/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
Marvel at the collection of 25 historical airplanes, helicopters, motors, and Formula One racing cars at Red Bull Hangar-7. The "Flying Bulls", an association of pilots and mechanics, founded this multifunctional building in 1999. Have a coffee at the lounge next to a P-38 Lightning--Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's service airplane. Watch the sunset reflected in the wings of the Mitchell B-25 from the café. Dine at Ikarus--a Michelin-starred restaurant. You'll also see two BO 105s--the world's only civil helicopter licensed for aerobatics. • Visit with free entry in this hangar with adjoining restaurant of red-bull I would say is not to be missed for lovers of great engines that do not view the variety of cars, planes, helicopters, motorcycles, jet etc. ... See them live it was awesome. Recommend it to all those who are close to going to see Red Bull hangar 8

  • Angar-7 in Salzburg, Austria, owned by Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz isn't a hangar in the traditional sense, but rather a multipurpose building with a collection of historic aircraft, 25 helicopters and Formula one race car. Simply amazing

  • Already are months I was happy on the hangar 7. Impressive and very interesting. Aircraft racing cars and other exhibits. nice cafr is available with super delicious breakfast but recommended to reserve. Not very cheap but you should yourself before that.

  • Best museum in the world! You will find inside F1 cars, Indycars, airplane of the Red Bull crew! The merchandising store is full of precious and amazing gadgets. For who have enough money to spend, there is a super restaurant on the first floor, where you can appreciate a 5 stars chef's plates
  • Planes! Really cool planes! Taken care of really well! Free! I should mention...it's inconvenient to get to without a car, but if you have a car it's got a great big free parking area. It's also not very big, and seems more like a mediocre redbull-gift-shop/bar/restaurant that's baited you in with a big plane collection (big for a bar). So, while I want effusively, to give them five stars because I love planes and all that has to do with aviation (love the redbull air race!)...it's blah-blah-blah I'm rich look at my toys BS. I walked, by choice, quickly, from the smack dab center of the Salzburg historical district and it took me two hours to get to H7. That said, it was a pleasant, if over-long roundtrip walk.
  • The place is really nice! So many nice planes cars etc... On a rainy day it's a nice place to go!
  • I was fortunate to visit this place a number of times over a few years and it was always a treat. Constantly evolving and always exciting.
  • A nice and exciting exhibition in an amazing building in architectural aspect. And in the restaurant they offer great foods and drinks and even the staff is kind and polite
