Where to stay in Salzburg

There’s no better area to stay in the city where Mozart was born than the historical city center, a World Heritage Site. Salzburg's hub offers comfortable accommodations nestled between a rich array of sights. The Salzach River cuts directly through town, dividing the city into east and west. Look for accommodations in the Altstadt, tucked in between the river and the city’s mountain, Monchsberg. For budget-minded travelers, try a centrally located youth hostel or small hotel. If price isn’t an issue, splurge on Austrian luxury in an upscale hotel.

  • This bridge over river connects the new and old city, and we can see a beautiful view of Salzburg. You will find lots of wishes locked in forms of locks.  more »
