Linzergasse, Salzburg
(4.2/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web)
Stroll up and down Linzergasse, a lively historical street that captures the Old Town's quaintness and character. Packed with boutique shops, restaurants, and cafes, the street is also lined with pastel colored "burgher" houses dating back as far as the 14th and 15th centuries that are recognizable as they're crammed together, side by side. Bring a picnic or grab a slice of pizza from one of the eateries. Put Linzergasse on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Salzburg family vacation planner.

  • These are the most famous street in Salzburg leading into downtown via the bridge over the River Salzach. You can find many luxury shops, dining and accommodations. Drop by to reach the old town.

  • The lane by the Salzach River to hotel Stein, goes out over the city and testifies to the old town flair with many beautifully renovated historical buildings. Shops and pubs for every need and taste. Street flooded not so tourists such as the grain. A shopping experience at any time of the year.

  • Advent weekends we drive again once liked to Salzburg. So once again. And we are still very excited. Not only by the designer-outlet - but also the Linzergasse, a highlight for shopping, strolling - again and again is a small cultural Intermezzo in between. All Salzburg tourist must visit necessarily over the Salzach River and the Linzergasse. Not far is also the Mirabell Gardens and the Mozart House. In the alley, Miss not the Sebastian cemetery. A place of rest in the middle of the bustling
