  • Take advantage of the hand held audio tour, lots of fascinating facts to learn about historic Salzburg as you wander round this grand palace.
  • Course extremely well organized to be coupled with the Museum of the new residence allows you to understand the power of the former archbishops of the Principality of Salzburg

  • Audioguide was a bit dry and boring, I was expecting more fun facts. But the place is impressive all in all, definitely worth the price. Be prepared for at least 2 hours!

  • Just before the main doors of the cathedral, you’ll see the entrance to the museum, which does have a fee. It’s a large museum which goes over several levels of the cathedral and attached buildings. It has an excellent collection of artwork and treasures, including some significant religious relics. You can also see some of the state rooms. It's really worth the time if you are interested in religious history.
  • Nice place to admire the architecture of museums. Other than galleries and historical stuff, the other thing to admire is of course the architecture of the building itself.
  • I loved this museum. It's audio tour is sequential and informative and within an hour's time, I've gained enough historical knowledge to better appreciate Salzburg as a city,
  • Another museum which is very grand and I would like to add that the architecture of this museum is superbly unique so if you're not interested in art and what not, admire the building itself
  • History of the residence of the Prince-Archbishops given on the audio guide and nice gallery of paintings.
