  • You are immersed in the Baroque splendor of Regency Chambers and of the archbishops. The audio guides are very useful and they explain many interesting things. Stra certainly recommended.

  • Because it was rainy I decided to do the self-tour. The displays were varied and interesting and the views from the organ loft of the Dome Cathedral were spectacular. There is also an outside terrace ...  more »
  • This was an unexpected treat, but we were in there for about 2 hours. Once inside you are guided around a series of wonderful museums with an audio guide. This is a must see for the view from the top ...  more »

  • Just before the main doors of the cathedral, you’ll see the entrance to the museum, which does have a fee. It’s a large museum which goes over several levels of the cathedral and attached buildings. It has an excellent collection of artwork and treasures, including some significant religious relics. You can also see some of the state rooms. It's really worth the time if you are interested in religious history.
  • Nice place to admire the architecture of museums. Other than galleries and historical stuff, the other thing to admire is of course the architecture of the building itself.
  • I loved this museum. It's audio tour is sequential and informative and within an hour's time, I've gained enough historical knowledge to better appreciate Salzburg as a city,
  • Another museum which is very grand and I would like to add that the architecture of this museum is superbly unique so if you're not interested in art and what not, admire the building itself
  • History of the residence of the Prince-Archbishops given on the audio guide and nice gallery of paintings.
