  • We stopped at Ehrenberg with our 3 kids on a day trip to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Ehrenberg was the highlight of the day. We hiked up, explored the ruins, crossed the Skyline, and played on the p...  more »
  • The ruins are very impressive and very informative worked out the Ehrenburg, the Fort and the Fort. In addition the Museum into the Hermitage and the extra exhibition over the Lech River. For €8, you get admission to the suspension bridge, the Museum is free with the active.card Reutte (guest card). In addition the park fee of € 4. The bridge itself was nothing to anyone as an experience - sure, it has made us but a lot of fun. The paths are good, but steep, so more suited to fit people. BUT - and it is a big but! There are no toilets or trash bins more after the rise of the Hermitage. Consequently pretty much garbage lying around unfortunately on all ruins and people need in the forest. Make it better!

Depending on the age and stamina, you can answer questions on the way to the ruins of Castle Ehrenberg or the upper fortress Castle head. No PIN is necessary, because the correct answers by sticker then revealed a treasure map... Our 4 year was thrilled with me. As a treasure, there is then a CD since then up and down running (history and song). So much to recommend to pay the few euros! The Museum is worth every single penny! We have had never been so child-friendly exhibitions to be touched...
