  • It's nice that it's one of the rare places in Austria, which is not closed in the winter. First thought to kill an hour for children, but in the end it turned out that stayed almost 2.5 hours and not notice it. Price per 5 (2 +3 children) man I think cost around 40 euros. First you go to the Museum, was surprised to learn that garnets come in different colors and only the Blue does not happen. Exposition of small halls 5 probably small, but very visual, very many interesting designs-kids happily learned what happen in nature. Further tunnel issue helmet and pass yourself and see what you want, honestly, there's not a lot of interesting things, but if a good camera, you can make great pictures on the background of the glowing stones in the wall and ceiling. I'm here a little bit bored, but the children all was cool. Oh and then we transferred another guide into the street. Unfortunately we knew almost no German and English and as a result the explanations received, but not really there and so all was clear! We issued helmets and goggles. And yet picks. Let down the wall rocks and showed how you can get the grenades. First we kovyrjalis' without hunting, but then cepanulo! All that you have to dig you! You need to gently be upholstered by breed around the pomegranate and it's yours! But the children say: If you hit him, the pomegranate is KAPUT! the largest that we have managed to get is about 1.5 cm in diameter. Result-a bunch of emotions, a bunch of pomegranates and calluses from hoeing machine! Well, not for a second did not disappointed that we went here-still in this day of the mountain were closed for skiing! Unfortunately we could not restricting them from them immediately at the shop, but the machine cost and perhaps others have more luck. And upon completion you can buy any stones and pomegranates for very reasonable money. Prices start from my 0.5 euro. Good luck to all and bright impressions!

  • If you plan the visit so that you have time for a stroll along the wonderful Christmas illuminated can walk into after dark, which is a nice bonus. The Manager is very friendly and to help - simply nice there!

  • The lead is not too long, but instructive. The possibility, according to the Guide outdoors even scratch, tap rocks is nice. Garnets can be found also on the way to the gate of Garnet, starting point: Lammersdorfer hut, Millstatt.

  • There's not too much to talk about, it's a small museum with garnets with behind that a little cave. You can also pick your own garnets at the end of that cave, but don't get too hyped. It's fun, but it won't fill a day. Tours are German only, but text is mostly also in English.
  • A little museum on garnets, including the visit to the old cave and the possibility to hammer the garnets out of the rock yourself. The guided tours are only in German, but most of the text inside the museum is written also in English and Italian. Fun for kids.
  • Ideal place to discover the precious stone Garnet. A museum with surprises, an impressive cave and on top of that you can in the mining area still own the grenades from the rocks are correct, ... in any kind of weather.

  • The walking tour with guide was very informative but rather boring for me as an adult for a child. Also, the rooms are quite tight and with 25 people can be scared place. The pomegranate Gallery was very great. The Schürffeld was 1 if it had space to the hammering nice but you need already-2 hours to get a few grenades pebbles. For children who have had no success with the hammers should be even a pebble as a gift

  • Site very well cared for, and the ability to dig like a real miner and be able to take home the fruit of your work makes for children 1 fantastic place. An experience that you will remember for life ... nice with beautiful children.
