this is a lovely forest. Can be a bit steep at times but only to be expected in the alps. Some of the benches are in the most fab view points and it is a nice walk to the Zirben hutte for well earned.... more

I imagine it is particularly beautiful in the summer but we enjoyed exploring on the trail from the Zirbenwald restaurant and into the woods. Lovely area. Peaceful.

Very beautiful forest with beautiful vegetation. Easily accessible from Obergurgl via the Hohe Mut Mittel-Station or from the Zirben Alm.

Great forest with many interesting information boards and some highlights. With a cozy evening round you can really switch off and enjoy the peace and quiet. The pine scent that is in the air here is something very special 😉 The circular route is easy to walk, even for families or hikers who are not so fit, there are always benches or loungers to rest. At the end you can either stop off at the Zirbenalm or walk down to Obergurgl.

I love the pine scent! Wonderful information stations and relaxed Zirbenweg. Great view of Obergurgel, the Rotmoostal and the waterfall.

Great hiking tour especially for families! Takes about 1.5-2 hours depending on the start! Nature is still intact here... When you enter the forest, you can already smell the stone pines! Absolutely recommendable👍🏻
