  • The second time Timmelsjoch, an Alpine transition that every enthusiastic and impressively conveys the beauty of the mountains. Here it comes already in the schools, but also on the engineering skill of the builders. The pictures speak for themselves.

  • Timmelsjoch is located on the border of Austria and Italy. This is a paid, High-Alpine road with numerous spaces in places particularly scenic. We strongly recommend the abandonment of motorway driving to the road-long but a lot of beautiful

  • This time we are with our Schnauferl from South Tyrol via the Timmelsjoch back in our region of Bavaria. A very impressive, scenic High Alpine road or pass. 16 euros is just adequate. There is the toll station, restaurant and a motorcycle Museum. The latter we not looked at us, we were on the way home. For this we have left us for dinner time. Brilliant restaurant terrace with a Sunshine only the skiers get off. My Austrian Gröstl was out fried with lard. Perfect combination of ingredients and egg on top, how to's in Austria get. However, here with exquisite taste. My better half ordered himself a Schwammerl-goulash with (napkin) dumplings (Info for meat-eaters: this is a meal without meat, just mushrooms - here: Rehlinge/Reherl/Chanterelles - much cream sauce with dumplings.) She was excited. We do definitely again this tour.
