  • A rewarding detour in every way leads to South Carinthia in the Museum Liaunig. Immensely impressive here contemporary architecture is the ideal setting for a private art collection of different characteristics: the emphasis is certainly on the Austro Hungarian Milit. Abstract presented in stunning performance as dense as it is effective. That besides glass art, African beads and old portrait miniatures are presented, surprising; Anyway, atemberauebend, really? But the real star is the museum itself - namely in physical terms of also immaterial. A very wealthy is committed here a memorial - but for the benefit of all of us. Instead of investing his millions in senseless Protzerei with super expensive yachts, the owner of Herbert W. Liaunig offers significant insight into the art of the late 20.Jahrhunderts. Congratulations to so much vision to share congratulations in particular but also on the conviction and the enforcement, this art with other, less well-to-do!

  • It can only recommend modern art, classic miniatures, African bead art, great products of glass cutting in the middle of modern architecture and also a great sculpture garden -. Does not pass, visit, even if it is slightly more expensive.
