  • A super fun and delightful area for children, while adults take the long trip to the bottom of the area

  • The ski area is very nice, offering expansive slopes for all levels. Disadvantage is its proximity to the airport of Innsbruck, which the slopes in the truest sense of the Word make very many inexperienced skiers, especially from England, Holland, Russia and the Middle East.

  • The Bergbahnen you EndY to 2000 m of altitude. Great views of the Austrian massifs. Hiking at altitude to do. Enjoy a drink in the Iglu bar is additional experience. (Mulled wine was lengthened to the water or snow)

  • The Ahorn gondola gets you quickly to the top. There is a slight disadvantage to the super-size gondola solution that you have to wait until it fills with enough people and also there is a bit of a trek from the station entrance to the gondola itself. The runs on Ahorn are great and usually not too crowded. However, they are not connected (by lift, to ski over) to any other ski area, so going from Ahorn to Penken requires getting down and walking about 300 meters. There is a bus too, but given the distance it is not worth waiting unless it is already there.
  • Works as advertised, clean, modern, good view.
  • Good ski area
  • Can be foggy
  • Top ski area in the Ziller Valley. In addition to the Zillertal arena mean favorite ski area
