  • Just outside of town is a four mile loop trail through the forest and along the Leutasch gorge. It is a moderate hike with level places and a few steep climbs. On the climbs there are switchbacks and ...  more »
  • I had forgotten how amazing this place is. I am.now planning to go back again next year. Fantastic yet scary at times. A must for all travellers.
  • Nice, easy sight on the Creek below you in the beautiful nature, with which was around, I'm sure it won't do no good and would have been a pity, it neshlednout, it's free.

  • This is definitely one of the best place I have visited in Bavaria, or rather all of Europe. The walk up to the bridge is a bit steep but not too long, and the view from the bridge cross the gorge is just amazing. Also, you can walk for just few hundred meters at the bottom of the gorge to reach the waterfall, and the view and whole experience is just amazing.
  • They have done their best to make this place interesting and kids friendly. We liked the walk, it is not demanding, suitable for family with kids. The waterfall is a must see, very much worth the 3 euro entrance fee. Parking is 4 euro for a day. Use the machine at the entrence, there you can pay by card. Location is quite handy. Close to the ancient city Mittenwald, where you can easily make a cozy day out of it.
  • If you love gorges, rocks and water dozens of metres below, it's a place for you. It's 1 - 1,5 hours walk, not difficult, no peaks to climb, no special stamina needed. 5 euro for whole-day parking, no entrance fee.
  • Nice place for an easy weekend hike. The path leads you along the canyon with a mountain steam raging a few tens of meters below. Awesome views, fresh air and even some entertainment for kids along the trail.
  • Very Nice view. Easy walk.
