  • The Kreuzenstein Castle is a beautiful old Castle at about half an hour from Vienna. Beautifully lit in the evening.

  • Near Vienna spot. Rode public transportation with one-year-old child-all terms were (not very trjaskaja road, warm toilet next to the Castle tavern). Tour cost 10 euro per adult. Required group gathering and inside were at the beginning of each hour. Dali laminated flyers. In my opinion, kuco conducted tour information surface. It would be enough to run around and gawk outside. Taverna: black tea-bags, glassware washed, one bad waiter at 8-10 tables-there is a risk to miscalculate your readiness over time, consumption calculation for him and not up to the start of the tour. Entourage Interior and robes of waiters and peddlers-excellent.

  • Very beautiful castle. 4 instead of 5-star because the only one multi-tasking staff who sold tickets and did guided tours had to ask people to leave the castle immediately after the short non-English speaking tour as she needed to rush back to the ticket booth for the next group. Also, she could provide only one copy of the poorly translated English summary of the tour for both my husband and I as she got the other copies taken away by tourists. The management should seriously think about a better way to run the business.
  • Really beautiful and can be reached from Vienna without a car. And impressive bird show.
  • ATTENTION ALL ENGLISH SPEAKERS (🇺🇸🇬🇧) I am pretty sure that if I had been storming this castle in the 1700s they would have been more friendly than the tour guide was to us yesterday. To start the castle is amazing is definitely worth seeing. However when the tour started we asked the lady if there was English. She then became annoyed by this and obviously disliked that we PAID for the tour which we had waited an hour for. We were given sheets with a supposed English translation but they contained far less info the the lady gave. She made no attempt to welcome us, paying customers, despite catering to the Hungarian speakers on the tour in a very friendly way. In fact, the only time the old lady was speaking English was when she told us she couldn't speak English, which I am pretty sure she could, and when she was yelling at my son for "touching" an axe when he pointed at it. She then proceeded to tell a joke about him in German and the whole group laughed at him which was very demoralizing. If you are looking for a cool castle I much preferred Aggstein Castle, the self guided tour was in English as well as fantastic, had much better views of the Danube, and is 900 years old. If you speak English, go there instead.
  • Amazing medevil castle with lots of original authentic artifacts. However, the castle was rebuilt in the 19th century. Worth a visit. Also be forewarned that the tours appear to happen only on the hour, so don't arrive late or you'll have to wait. tours are 10 for adults and 5 for kids.
  • Very interesting castle. I liked how many details there are in the building and also interior. Nature surrounding the whole castle is very beautiful too.
