  • The Schlosspark is always good for a walk, with kids or dogs. The area is quite big and not overrun. There are always spots for some privacy. You have the opportunity to see some historical buildings ...  more »

  • A beautiful 19th century castle with amazing gardens. It is a bit out of the way of the usual Vienna tourist route, but a visit is highly recommended should you have a nice sunny day to spare.
  • A great park for a stroll, for a round of feeding the ducks, renting a boat on the river or just having a picknick in the grass. Well worth a visit!
  • Delightful location for a bit of nature close to Vienna. Seventeenth century Schloss overlooks the park with a variety of attractions. Among them is a 2/3 scale castle replica on an island. Laxenburg's train station is small and infrequently serviced by trains from Vienna, but the 215 and 217 buses from the train station at Modling run roughly every half hour.
  • This is really a beautifully place. Great to spend all day long. There is a huge green space where you can run, or simply rest, since there are lots of benches all over the place, some of them near the beautiful lake. There is a big great lake, where you can rent a boat and go for a great ride along the lake. You can also visit the castle, you can pay just 0.5 euros to go to the castle using a small ferry boat or you can go walking all around, until you get behind the castle, then just use the bridge to enter the castle. This is a great place to spend the day with the family or for a romantic day out. It's 45 minutes from vienna. The bus is the 566 that costs 2.20euros each way. Enjoy
  • War wegen dem Pfadfinder Lager dort. Eine wunderschöne Anlage
