We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this castle. Starting with lunch at the lovely little restaurant at the bottom of the hill where you park the car (not affiliated with the castle, I believe), we set... read more »

Admission 12 euros is somewhat high in my opinion, however, the visit was worth. Earlier, there was also a lift, but no longer is in operation. Through the 14 gates, which are also interesting described, it is high on the Castle courtyard. Since we had fantastic beautiful weather, the view was really great. The Church can be a little detour in the small garden. A beer garden is at the top in the courtyard and also the armoury in the small museum, which was included in the price is definitely worth a visit.show original
I have been to this Castle 4 times and this coming week I will go again to show my son from Australia and partner for the first time. I really enjoy this but hope the elevator is fixed as I can no longer walk that far up hill. It has always worked in the past so hope it's ok .
Elevator is broken. Be prepared to walk up. Beautiful views. Interesting architecture. There are some odd role play/time period photos of the family in the cellar area.
The castle is nice but there is not much to see inside.. and for that it's overpriced,12€ is way too much for what it offers.. although it's very preserved and the view up is very nice..

Very recommended visit if you are in the area. It is closed in winter, or at least was closed when I went. It was beautiful in summer. They have a privileged view in the top. There is a small exposition of objets related to monarchy in the older ages.
Very nice architecture, great viewpoint, excellent museum. Awesome place for a trip.
