  • One can not completely imagine how scenic, glorious and beautiful the road and all the scenery around Krimml waterfalls can be until he/she sees and feels it in real (pictures can not capture all the ...  more »
  • It's beautiful to see, and the walk is nice even if the most beautiful point of view is that of down. The noise is quite striking. With a baby, avoid the strollers and prefer the baby carrier. Price is €3 / pers, but add parking € 5 and € 9 toll if you come by the collar. The duration of the visit is variable and depends on from where you want to mount.

  • Great hike, small fee to get in but worth it as they use it to maintain the hiking paths. You can slowly make your way up to the top of the falls. They have made convenient stops in between where you get awesome views and a little bit of a "rain shower" too. Hike to middle falls with beautiful view is about 40 minutes up a nice hiking path.
  • A wonderful place to visit, if the weather is fine. You can walk right up to the waterfall and feel the mist on your body. There are several places where you can walk to the different heights of the complete waterfall (it's devided in sections). Walking to the top takes around 1 hour on good roads to walk on). To enter the area adults pay 3 Euros. Parking around the waterfalls costs 5 Euros per day (no hourly prices possible). There is one parking area for free. Just look for it right after passing parking P1. Also before entering the road to the waterfall (where you pay your 3 Euros) there are little shops (souvenirs, overpriced tourist stuff like everywhere) and a Biergarten to eat.
  • One of the highest waterfalls in Europe. It has three levels. It can take more than hour to climb up to the top. You can get wet a bit from water dust so put proper clothes on.
  • We hit this place upon a mountain bike tour June 2004. This is one of our Austrian beauties.
  • Been a couple of times and it is always inspiring especially after a rain storm. The power of the water and the roar of the waterfalls is awesome. Drawing in all the natural ozone totally refreshes you and clears the lungs. Lovely!
