Fun & Games
At Minimundus, see the Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Sydney Opera House, Taj Mahal, and 150 other architectural models, all built at a ratio of 1:25. Spread across 2.6 hectares (6.4 acres) of landscaped area, these creations have attracted more than 15 million people since the park opened in 1958. Even though they are miniaturized, and mostly human-size, you may be surprised at how big some of these are. For example, the Toronto CN Tower stands 23 m (75 ft) tall. You also can witness an actual launching of a mini space shuttle. Check out the tiny trains that travel 5,000 km (3,000 mi) per year. • We spent 2 hours here and it was our first visit in a place like this. I recommend it if you have kids but it's nice for adults also.  more »

  • Its very cute and interesting, but I think they missed many important sigthts from around the world. My little brother liked it very much though, and this is definitely family friendly.
  • Great place, everything is in the same scale, so you can compare the different sizes of all the models. Very family friendly, but also just a great exhibition for everyone!
  • Must see if you visit Klagenfurt with kids. Models are very detailed. Very friendly staff im the Stani's restaurant.
  • You should visit it at least to compile list of places you to visit in real life. Also there you can get clue how big buildings are compared to each other. There is children playground in the territory. A lot of things are interactive (just push a button).
  • Really interesting well known buildings from all over the world 25 time smaller than real size. It's like you travel around the globe in 1.5h. My recommendation if you are near.
