  • We only had a chance to view it from outside. We arrived at 2pm but unfortunately restaurant and the castle door was closed.  more »
  • We walked through there when we went to Innsbruck, beautiful city, and the Castle saw him from the road. Pleasantly surprised us so stately architectural style.

  • Trazberg castle can be seen from far away, because it is located in a high place, so it makes a nice postcard, along with the surrounding forest.

  • 40 minutes to get a ticket after that we hear we had to wait 45 extra minutes since the tour is a guided tour. Juist a castle that is pretty expensive and has little to offer. 37 Euro for two adults and two kids.
  • The castle doesn't open for excursions very early. Don't hurry to be there in the morning.
  • A great gem in the panorama of Gothic castles.
  • This is a great place to visit on the Inn valley, a short distance from Jenbach. There is a bus stop right outside, or it's a nice scenic walk from the village. From the main road, you walk up a wooded road to where the restaurant is located, with a tourist train that will take you up the steeper part (if you don't want to walk) of the mountainside to the castle itself. We went there to film an interview with the Count, who owns and lives at the castle, so we got to meet him, but all the rooms that we saw are open to the visitor, so it is all accessible, except the private family apartments as you would expect. A fascinating history and connection with Emperor Maximilian the First; and the rooms contain authentic original furniture. It's a great visit with children, and the audio guide is particularly good, with sound effects and actors. Well worth it.
  • Highly recommended, nice panoramic view, very good guide including ad hoc mega final fright that's going to upset no small children and sick you heart
