Stadtturm, Innsbruck
(4.1/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
Climb to the top of Stadtturm for a view of the town's historic rooftops and surrounding mountains. Built between 1442 and 1450 as an extension of the former city hall, the tower's construction represented the growing self-confidence of the medieval bourgeoisie, sending a clear message to everyone of its preparedness to defend its right and interests. The 148 steps to the top of the tower may be a difficult climb for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues, and there is no elevator. Have your photo taken at the top of the tower and access it online after your visit. Be sure to save your entry ticket to use the restrooms at the bottom of the tower for free. Put Stadtturm and other Innsbruck attractions into our Innsbruck trip generator, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • A visit to the Bell Tower is worth to get the figure is negligible (3.50 euros) and once you have a beautiful view across Innsbruck Sly the spiral staircase inside the Tower, a salt and drops ... The photo I am attaching is not up to much because suffering from Vertigo I didn't dare take pictures once arrived at the top, but I was able to circle around and recommend it to everyone! • Interesting design with stairs. Well worth the visit. Great view of the city. Go on a Sunday at 11:30am and watch the band play from under the golden roof.
  • A lovely bit of medieval Europe, not to be missed while in Innsbruck
  • Great view over Innsbruck
  • Amazing views and worth the climb late in the day .. Avoid midday as it's crazy busy and hot in the summer.
  • best view from above on Innsbruck's old town and the surrounding mountains
