  • A delicious restaurant just next to our hotel, and in the old town. Should of course ha a wiener schnitzel which was created on the right way fried in butter. Can highly recommend the site

  • A stone's throw from the Golden roof away, so in the beautiful old town. Inside and in the summer can sit outside. There are a variety of unterschieldlicher spaces. So you can dine also very undisturbed. The local has history, tradition and the building. The menu has what for all tastes. Mostly however regional and Austrian/Tyrolean cuisine. The food is very good, so also the friendly service. I had boiled fillet of beef with roasted potatoes and spinach. Gabs to fresh Apple horseradish. The meat was served in a Gemüseboullion, so I had on top of that even a good-tasting vegetable broth. The portions are plentiful. Reasonable prices for Innsbruck. There's a 2.50 euro cover fee, are in turn fresh rolls/baguettes and fresh spread and lard. With Apple juice and all that, I've paid 27.50 euro. Was worth it anyway. Bon appétit and have fun.

  • Very tasty food. Quite pricey but generous portions. Beautiful building and good service
  • Have been coming here for many years with my family. One of our favourite places in innsbruck. Food is always excellent and service very good and owners always very friendly and welcoming. Prices somewhat above average for innsbruck standards but in my opinion very much value for money. The venue itself is spectacular. Recommendable for locals and tourists alike.
  • Outstanding food. Beef and steak were to die for. Excellent service. Good English too. Definitely come back. Highly recommend
  • Pricey, but well worth it. Beautiful building too
  • Pricey but lovely location, building and service!

Where to stay in Innsbruck

The Alpine gem of Austria, Innsbruck offers a surprising amount of reasonably priced accommodations for its size. Look for hostels and hotels in the medieval center. Another option is to stay above the city on the Hungerburg Plateau, where you’ll find Alpine hotels with panoramic views from each room. If you're traveling on a budget, look for lodging in private homes throughout the city: rent a room or the entire house for a local stay.
