  • A delicious restaurant just next to our hotel, and in the old town. Should of course ha a wiener schnitzel which was created on the right way fried in butter. Can highly recommend the site

  • A stone's throw from the Golden roof away, so in the beautiful old town. Inside and in the summer can sit outside. There are a variety of unterschieldlicher spaces. So you can dine also very undisturbed. The local has history, tradition and the building. The menu has what for all tastes. Mostly however regional and Austrian/Tyrolean cuisine. The food is very good, so also the friendly service. I had boiled fillet of beef with roasted potatoes and spinach. Gabs to fresh Apple horseradish. The meat was served in a Gemüseboullion, so I had on top of that even a good-tasting vegetable broth. The portions are plentiful. Reasonable prices for Innsbruck. There's a 2.50 euro cover fee, are in turn fresh rolls/baguettes and fresh spread and lard. With Apple juice and all that, I've paid 27.50 euro. Was worth it anyway. Bon appétit and have fun.

  • The Ottoburg building dates from the mid 15th century and is one of the oldest in Innsbruck. The gatekeeper for the Old Town of Innsbruck along Herzog-Friedrich Strasse. Well worth gazing upon while t...  more »

  • A very nice place, this old building is from 11 century. A beutifull view on the river, city and mountains - this is a reason to visit! Food and service was fine. We were there at around 7pm and restaurant was crawded, but this time it is everywhere the same.
  • Excellent food!! Cosy atmosphere and caring staff!!!
  • Very tasty food. Quite pricey but generous portions. Beautiful building and good service
  • Outstanding food. Beef and steak were to die for. Excellent service. Good English too. Definitely come back. Highly recommend
  • Have been coming here for many years with my family. One of our favourite places in innsbruck. Food is always excellent and service very good and owners always very friendly and welcoming. Prices somewhat above average for innsbruck standards but in my opinion very much value for money. The venue itself is spectacular. Recommendable for locals and tourists alike.

Where to stay in Innsbruck

The Alpine gem of Austria, Innsbruck offers a surprising amount of reasonably priced accommodations for its size. Look for hostels and hotels in the medieval center. Another option is to stay above the city on the Hungerburg Plateau, where you’ll find Alpine hotels with panoramic views from each room. If you're traveling on a budget, look for lodging in private homes throughout the city: rent a room or the entire house for a local stay.
