  • The stroll through the Makthalle relaxed. All goods seems to be really fresh, not very cheap but good. Accompany the stroll-friendly Standbeschicker or producers and small "Versucherl" help you decide.

  • I should say that the market hall has been improved during the past decade. But I still think that the concrete building doesn't fit in the historic centre of Inssbruck. The market itself might be qui...  more »
  • While in Innsbruck went there many times. The Inn bridge away, so can easily. Lined indoor such long winter is the variety of vegetables, fruits, meat, ham, cheese, fish, flowers, small souvenir shops, locality or gymnasium. Displayed very neatly and correctly light work per the other has. Will the kitchen for citizens not 間chigai thought is not high, but the price is probably cheaper too. It was fun watching the shopping. Asparagus are just starting, you were purchasing them. I thought seems to rest on Saturdays and during the day on weekdays to Innsbruck because if you take a look at good apparently.

  • Nice to swing through and check for herbs, spices, or whatever the vendors are selling. Also good to grab a quick coffee/pastry for breakfast. Decent prices.
  • Farmer market. Be aware, that it closes around noon.
  • Small but nice markethalll... We had lunch at Italian place, it is really worth recommending..
  • Under cover market with a great selection of fresh foods, meats, cheeses etc. About half the market is open during the week, but on Saturdays the temporary stalls are open as well with local delicacies, flowers, crafts and such. The market is also home to several permanent restaurants including: Breton crepe cafe 'Culture Breizh', oriental cafe 'Soultans', and popular wine bar 'vinium.in'. These three restaurants have outdoor seating facing stunning views over the Inn and Nordkette.
  • Great place to enjoy the sun in the summer time with the beautiful mountain view

Where to stay in Innsbruck

The Alpine gem of Austria, Innsbruck offers a surprising amount of reasonably priced accommodations for its size. Look for hostels and hotels in the medieval center. Another option is to stay above the city on the Hungerburg Plateau, where you’ll find Alpine hotels with panoramic views from each room. If you're traveling on a budget, look for lodging in private homes throughout the city: rent a room or the entire house for a local stay.
