  • The road is 35 km long and you can enter it from various points: we entered at Ried and paid €5 for our motorcycle. It is pretty narrow and steep and you have to watch out for cows standing in the roa...  more »
  • Scenic route, for a fee, a bit narrow in some places, the Zillertal high road that allows you to follow the Valley enjoying a breathtaking view. There are many lodges and restaurants where you can stop to admire the view, eat or as a starting point for a hike.

  • Who makes holiday in the Zillertal, should devote a day the roads. The toll (currently €8) is really good. Including driving from Ried of signs up to 2000m. There is a super panoramic view of the surrounding peaks. Also hikes are possible, where you should start then on good days early because the parking is quickly sold out. Conclusion: in good weather a beautiful view and several eateries. Absolutely recommended! Suitable for families with small children, because there is a great "Groundhog playground".
