  • From the starting point (car park 10) Alpine Inn is closely from easy walks to multi-day mountain tours everything possible. By the bad weather, the colour of mountain Maple was not as nice as we know it. However, the fog has emerged that has especially made our day trip the whole valley in a mystical atmosphere. The way can be easily walked to the first meadow with prams. Along the way, there are many information panels that provide some variety the children and also for adults holds still trivia. Before it then goes from the plain to the mountains a retreat is possible, even cheese and Bacon can be purchased.

  • This place is located in the heart of the Park of the Karwendel. You get there via the Germany to return to Austria. The road that runs along the Achensee is very beautiful. Then it's a small private toll (4.50 euros) road which leads to the Ahornboden. It is closed in winter. Arrival in this valley where time is suspended, is done through a plateau planted Maple (where its name) on several acres, giving it an appearance of great Park. The Valley is bordered on all sides by mountains. Some farmers live there. We can to restore. There are many opportunities for hiking. There is something for everyone: athletes, children, walkers, seniors. We ran into a lot of strollers. In all eating places, shelters, there are spaces reserved for children. The atmosphere of this valley is magical. A true nugget of beauty. The feeling of being out of time. Very exotic. It seems that the fall colors give Maple an Indian summer air. A must see.

  • Super for a day trip we were in October to go hiking there and found it all super. The increase is somewhat difficult. We are to the Lamsenjochhütte parking wandered close to the Café "Eng". We chose the steeper rise. There's also an easier way for walkers. The food okay was on the Lamsenjochhütte. Halfway there is a further refreshments the binsalm meadow. There's a Kaiserschmarrn. Especially is beautiful in this way is the view of the mountains. It was surprisingly full. Also on the steeper road. This was probably because that it still was one of the last beautiful days in the year 2015. To recommend in any case.
