  • We will visit the exhibition "Garden pleasure" in Halbturn Castle Park every August. Castle and castle gardens offer a very nice ambiance. In the castle there are changing exhibitions. The entrance fees for exhibitions and the garden show.

  • The castle is very well preserved, there are exhibitions and events regularly. The Park is unique, very clean, quiet, spacious!

  • The Castle and the garden are beautiful and unique in Burgenland there otherwise nowhere as a well-kept Park with so many high and shady trees. The exhibition is also interesting, there are ongoing events (horses, music, Christmas, etc.). We found a flaw that we unfortunately could not see the original walls in the Castle, except in the concert hall in the Center with two open fireplaces and the unique ceiling fresco, donated by Maria Theresia as a wedding gift. PS: With the Neusieldersee card, admission is free!

  • There are precisely two good things. 1) the castle itself, if you like it 2) the food, which is also functioning as a stand alone restaurant. Because of that I'd recommend eating here, sightseeing a little and sleeping in somewhat more comfortable place, e.g. your car or a park bench. And don't even thing about taking room with someone you aren't 110% comfortable with, as bathrooms have glass door and you can see everything going on inside.
  • A great weekend in Halbturn. Rooms nicely furnished and very spacious. Food very good. Staff very polite and helpful

  • The Castle Park is worth a detour, Enoteca also. Here you - can login as a precaution before - under the excellent guidance and surrounded by antiques taste the excellent wine of the winery. The exhibition in the Castle (any hodgepodge of exhibits) and the leaders are not. The Interior of the Castle has almost nothing to offer after a fire, so save you the entrance fee or give out rather opposite restaurant Squire Stöckel.

  • Also im Burgenland, close to Lake Neusiedl, frauenkirchen Basilica. The Castle also has a turbulent history. in 1945 it was plundered by Russian soldiers, it burnt down in 1949. The garden to the walk a. Various exhibitions to take place annually, including the half Turner Castle concerts. The castle is lau Hague Agreement under monumental protection.

  • The Castle Halbthurn is of course a Baroque jewel and thus a visit. Also the snack in the Knappenstöckl is nothing to sneeze at... The year's annual exhibition (2016) with the title "animal man myth, mythical creatures and reality" trying the various aspects of the human animal relationship to represent. But alas: Came out a smorgasbord of objects (noteworthy: preparations from the zoological collection of the University of Vienna and the display cases, which were used at the world exhibition 1889 already), which are unfortunately not very well described and lack a common thread... Only 2 Sternderl.
